Cosmetic and Laser Surgeon Dr. Susan Stevens Tanne
Susan Stevens Tanne, M.D. specializes in non–invasive, no downtime cosmetic laser and aesthetic medicine for skin rejuvenation and body contouring. Dr. Tanne graduated from Barnard College of Columbia University, completed her medical training at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine and Saint Vincent's Medical Center in New York, and has been practicing medicine for over 20 years. Dr. Tanne combines her laser expertise with medical experience and artistry to create excellence for her patients. Her enthusiasm and gentle caring manner inspire confidence and trust.
"I believe that the key to successful treatment is a solid educational background. To achieve this, I attend hundreds of hours of workshops, symposia and meetings so patients can benefit from the newest techniques. Helping my patients look healthier and younger is a great source of fulfillment. My goal is to provide my patients with the newest, safest and most effective treatment methods available and customize these treatments to the particular needs of each individual patient. I also pride myself on providing patients with the friendliness and compassion they deserve. I take the time to listen to their concerns and answer their questions in simple, easy–to–understand language. In addition, I thoroughly educate them on any proposed treatment so they feel completely comfortable."
Dr. Tanne is a Fellow of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, a member of the American Society of Cosmetic and Laser Surgeons, the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine, the American Society of Aesthetic Lipodissolve, and the Syneron Leadership Academy. "Rennie is an admitted skincare junkie, as her husband (and his lack of bathroom counter space) can attest. She is a walking encyclopedia of skincare ingredients, and is thrilled to be learning the medical aspect of how they work together for optimal results. She is spearheading the launch of TANNE MD, our new medical grade skincare product line. Rennie’s background is in marketing, product development and brand building. She is also a prolific copywriter, and contributes regularly to several fashion and lifestyle magazines.
Her recommendation to everyone who walks in our door? Sunscreen, sunscreen, sunscreen. And a Professional-Grade Clarisonic.
Lauren Solomon - Esthetician, Make-Up Artist
We are delighted to have Lauren bring her talent to Cosmetic Laser MD. She is available for make-up consultations and application (including airbrush make-up), eyelash applications, and St. Tropez Airbrush Tanning. She will also be one of the pleasant, professional voices that you will hear when you call our office.
Lauren began her creative career at age 21. After trying her hand at acting she soon realized her passion was in make-up artistry. She began her education studying esthetics at the Capri Institute and later finished with extensive training at the Make-up Designory in Los Angeles, California. She has worked for such companies as Bourjois, MAC, and Laura Mercier as well as freelanced for print, television, and film. Lauren has been involved in on-location bridal beauty for over 10 years, bringing beauty and glamour to the women of New Jersey, New York and beyond.
Lauren says, "women spend too much time trying to hide their flaws. If they took a second to find their best feature and flaunt it then that is all we would see. A striking feature can overshadow a negative one any day! Seeing a woman’s face for the first time as she looks in the mirror at herself after her make-up is done. It’s an unmistakable look of power that I helped create. I love unleashing the hidden confidence that a woman feels when she knows she looks fabulous."

Nicole Citarella has been a hair and makeup artist for over twelve years and has done hundreds of weddings, magazine shoots (including several covers) and television ads. Nicole is the personal makeup artist for a number of actresses and famous authors – ask her who when you come in!
In addition to her beautiful make-overs, Nicole often does post-procedure touch-ups so that when you leave our office you’re ready to go! Nicole is most famous around here for being Dr. Tanne’s “spare hands” and assists in most injection procedures.
Nicole’s number one beauty secret? Brows and lashes – they can make or break your look. Come see her for a complimentary brow analysis. And when you do, ask her about her two dogs, Bear and Niko – after make-up and weddings, they are her other passion!
Our Facilities
Welcome to Cosmetic Laser MD. Our facility is a luxurious, relaxing environment where we provide you with state–of–the–art treatments and products while surrounding you with beauty and comfort.
Our stunning reception area is the first place that you see when entering. Our reception desk is an inviting place to be greeted by our Front Desk Manager. We constantly present new information on a flat screen monitor, while the gentle sound of water is heard coming from our water wall.
Our Beauty Bar and Skincare Boutique are inviting places to consult with Lauren, Nicole, and Rennie, our Cosmetic and Skincare experts. They will help you establish an appropriate skin care regimen and educate you in the proper use of your skin care products, and are available for cosmetic consultations and makeover.
Lauren is also our esthetician, and has a beautiful and calming room dedicated to her procedures. She is available for VelaShape, DiamondTip™ microdermabrasion, SilkPeel DermalInfusion, Simply Beautiful™ Eyelash Extensions, and a range of customized facials.
Consultations are conducted privately with Dr. Tanne, after which we often perform computerized skin analysis in our VISIA room. Patients then meet with one of our Cosmetic Coordinatorser, to discuss their aesthetic goals and set up a plan of action based on Dr. Tanne's recommendations..
Dr. Tanne greets her patients in our Laser procedures suite, where eMatrix Fractional Sublative Rejuvenation is available along with our state of the art lasers. Our dedicated Injectable Room is where fillers and BOTOX® are used to restore the Volume of Youth.
