How Does VelaShape™ Work?

VelaShape™ features the revolutionary ELOS™ combination of Bi–Polar radiofrequency (RF), Infrared Light Energy, plus Vacuum and Mechanical Massage. VelaShape™ Treatment Areas

VelaShape™ procedure is a safe, effective and virtually painless non–invasive solution for Cellulite and for Body Reshaping via circumference reduction. With VelaShape™, you can be treated for Circumferential Reduction on the thighs and Cellulite Treatment on thighs, buttocks, love handles and abdomen. The two applicators (VSmooth and VContour) on the VelaShape™ device are designed for large and small body areas; therefore, treatment is safe and effective.

VelaShape™ Treatment Benefits

What is the VelaShape™ treatment like?

You'll lie on a table for your treatment. The VelaShape™ hand pieces are applied to the areas being treated. Since this is a medical treatment and far beyond the ineffective spa–type procedures, there is typically some level of discomfort. Most patients find VelaShape™ treatments comfortable – like a warm deep tissue massage, followed by a deep heating sensation beneath their skin, while it can feel uncomfortable or "pinchy" for others. The treatment is designed to accommodate your sensitivity and comfort level.

How will I feel after the treatment?

Post treatment, the skin in the treated area may feel tighter, have an inner heated sensation, and appear flushed or pink from the heat for several hours. Syneron's VelaShape™ requires no downtime. You may return to your regular activities immediately.

Does this treatment suit me?

The majority of the population is suitable for receiving the VelaShape™ treatment. Those with pacemakers or uncontrolled m edical conditions cannot be treated. Those who are pregnant or obese are also not good candidates. You should consult with Dr. Tanne prior to receiving treatments.
